Currently, trying to hammer heated ingots into a knife alpha blade takes so long and uses up so much physical stamina that at least some new players are simply unable to complete the task. They run out of stamina and get a message about being too exhausted to move, and the crafting stops. I think this makes it nearly impossible to train the crafting skills for blacksmith and blades making, and probably others as well.

Oh, I had to test this on a player-account, as my Gm account doesn’t have stamina drain during crafting.

When a new rivnak is granted at the end of Roaming for a Rivnak it appears underground with only the head sticking up from the floor. I assume it’s just a case of needing a coordinate update.

I think 201256 -357169.6 12956.68 angle 4.182002 would work, placing it beside the player. Coordinates taken with a derghir, though, so maybe a meter higher?

Alternately, they could appear outside the shop at 200620 -356521 12896 angle 5.774299

Players who have done the Order of the Keen Edge quests do not seem to have their faction points calculated correctly. Players who have done the quests seem to have their faction listed as 0 (Ignored). I checked the quests, and no faction points are awarded by the quests, even though my logs show that faction points were given. Currently, the quests only give faction_level.

The quest Right on the Mine uses a quest item named Hamel Provision and at one point it’s supposed to be given to Gardr. Currently that does not happen. The quest will progress, but the quest item remains stuck in the inventory. It can be placed into storage, but otherwise there’s no way to get rid of it.

In some quests there is a delay before you can talk to an NPC again. One example of this is Its Gone Bad. In Legacy the players got a message like “You have to wait for 10 minutes before you can continue this quest.” so that they knew what was going on, but in PSU they don’t get the message.

Admittedly, the message is very OOC, but without it there’s no way for a player to know why they cannot proceed with the quest. If the messages cannot be restored, maybe a line of dialog from an NPC saying that they’ll have more to say later?

I’ve been doing some testing with the /morph command, and have not yet found a way to get it to work properly. I used my event character and every time I tried to morph into another race gender I had issues with the default Enkidukai texture remaining on the head. There were also other issues, like klyros wings being missing, and the fact that after the tests my enkidukai character now seem to have lemur textures on her hands permanently.

These are the results I got starting with a female enkidukai character, closing the game and loading fresh after each morph:

Dermorian M - Wrong texture, no back of head. Changing hair trait doesn’t help.
Dermorian F - Wrong texture, no back of head. Changing hair trait doesn’t help.
Diaboli M - Wrong texture, no back of head. Changing hair trait doesn’t help. Setting trait first doesn’t help.

Enkidukai M - Bad face texture, even from female enki

Klyros M - Entirely wrong texture, no wings, back missing
Klyros F - Nothing visible. Helmet and held items show on ground
Kran N - Wrong texture except for hands, oddly.
Lemur M - Wrong texture except hands, no hair. Hand texture remains after relog
Lemur F - Wrong texture except hands, no hair. Hand texture remains after relog
Nolthrir M - Wrong texture except for hands. No top/back of head
Nolthrir F - Wrong texture except for hands. No top/back of head
Stonehammer M - Wrong texture except for hands. No top/back of head or beard section of face.
Stonehammer F - Wrong texture except for hands. No top/back of head
Ylian M - Wrong texture except for hands. No top/back of head
Ylian F - Wrong texture except for hands. No top/back of head

I few quick tests with a female dermorian character were better, but the head texture was always wrong.

Noriko has been doing a lot of quest testing lately, and has found a number of quests where quest notes should be added so that returning players (or those who don’t use their logs) can pick up where they left off. I’ll pass along what she’s put in the petitions to this report.

In each case, the quests notes are very good except when Mirra first gives the quest. The notes only include a generic line about helping Mirra be a better cook, and fail to mention where she’s sent you or what she wants.

Once the player gets the name Shian Sulkin it should probably be added to the quest notes, in case logs aren’t available.

I’ll add more as they’re reported.

In Fishing Lessons for Fish, the quest dialog does not match the quest notes for that particular task. In one possible task the player is told to get 6 eels and 7 manta rays, but the quest notes say 7 eels and 6 manta rays. The player seemed to indicate that it was the notes that were wrong, but isn’t online for me to double-check.
