In “Fixing the Broken” you get 10100 tria reward.

But we know from Malcos quests that he is poor. He hasn’t even enough money to pay for the repair.
So 10k tria is way too much. And Gardr would not give it as one is about to gain his trust.

I am unable to heat a stack of steel cheekplates.
This is possible with every ore I know, every ingot/stock I know and every part during the production of weapons. So it should be able with Steel Cheekplates aswell.

I think this applies to other new item in the book “Helms of Darmeth” aswell.

Using the Book “Helms of Darmeth” you are able to transform a heated steel ingot into one ‘Set of Steel Rings’ using the anvil with the hammer.
The problem is, that there is just one entry about these rings in that book:
‘Shape Heated Steel Ingot into Set of Steel Rings using Anvil with a Hammer’.

That means you are not able to do anything further with these rings. NOthing useful, and.. more important.. you are not able to transform them back into steel ingots.

I am able to work on red hot small battle axe delta blades while sitting in front of the anvil.
I am overloaded, I cant stand up.. but I can hammer these blades.

I am sure this was not possible in the 0.4.* series…

A red hot small battle axe delta blade weighs 2 kg.
A steel stock weights 16kg.

I think it is obvious that it is impossible to transform a 2kg red hot small battle axe blade into a 16kg steel stock using the hammer and the anvil.

Maybe link this to PS#2889.

Heating steel ingots/stocks using the “Book of Blades” and a forge fails. It seems as if this transformations needs the “Working with Stock” in your mind slot.
In former times this was different, so I assume you changed this on purpose, but it is a bug. It is!

If you can heat “Sword Handles” using the “Book of Blades” and the forge it is not logical if you cannot do the same with ingots/stocks.
And, from my perspective as a crafter..it is extremly annoying to swap the books just to heat some ingots.

The funny thing is, I discovered that it is possible to work with axe blades using the “Book of Blades”. Why? I like it.. but then possible arguments for using the “Working with Stock”, as it is a different task to heat stocks, would be unsubstantial.

I hope you got the point: This is a bug. Just to clearify. A bug, not a feature.

Heating one steel stock using the forge takes 30 seconds.
Heating 59 steel stocks using the forge takes 204 seconds. This means for each stock 3,45 (204/59).

I would say this is a bug as it should not make any difference if you heat one or several stocks.

If this is you intention take this as a feature request: If you put one 20 cookies into you forge it takes exactly as long as just baking one eh?

You can print the last message in any of the tabs again by this procedure:

Open the options window, click “Chat”, the message will be printed again.
Click on “Chat - Filters”, message appears again.
Click on “Chat - Tabs”, message appears again.
Click “Save”, message appears again.

From now on you can open the options window again, click on “Save” and the “tip of the day” will appear again.

Message e.g. “You made Steel Stock”, “Thob says: [test]”.
If another player said or made something this will be printed too, together with your last sentence/action.

When enabled in the options the chat is logged.
If you say something in the guild tab you get a “[Guild] Thob says: Foo.”. Same with tell.

But if you say something in the npc tab you get just “Thob says: Foo.”

(Maybe this counts as a FR.)

I think this “[NPC]” should be added.

In the quest “Vladovic Needs Dried Maajo” there is a point where Vladovic asks you for the name of the npc that gave you the maajo.
A dialog shows up where you can enter the name.
If you enter nothing and press just <cancel> the result is a “/tellnpc (null)”. This is a problem as Vladivoc takes this as an answer:”Hmm, not to that it matter”. But I pressed <cancel> to search in the history for the name of the npc that gave me the maajo.

So this dialog should not enter (null) into the npc tab.

In the book “Notes of an axe maker” you find entries like this:
“shape axes super heated brittle reinforced axe blade into 3 steel stocks using anvil with a hammer”.
This is impossible as heating a brittle blade turns into a “super heated dull reinforced axe blade” which, after using the anvil with a hammer, turns into a dull blade.

Same for other craftings and red hot I think.

When repairing crafted weapons on ezpcusa you get following:

I think this massive loss is not intended.

When saying something in tell/auction or guild tab without using
/tell, /auction or /guild I get a text in sys and main telling me “You must enter a text”.

Think this applies for other tabs too, but I did not test it.

(Was unable to find an open tast about this)

Using ezpcusa and linux.

When crafting (here sword, axe, knife and blacksmith) you don’t get enough PP for getting the next theoretical training
(Just tested with knife-making).

I managed it to have 0 pp after buying the training for BS and knife-making. Then I trained knife-making by hammering dull dagger blades. After a while I ranked up in knife-making, but now I have just 119 pp. That is less than half what I need for getting the next training (it was lvl 52 to 53). And if it was enough, that wont be enough for getting the next BS training (20% red bar left, lvl 98 to 99).

Training mining it seems to work to get enough pp, but as I am a crafter I would like to be independent from killing mobs just to get the PP I need.

I hope you get the point. If not, please ask.

In addition to just telling me “You received some * training” everytime I train a bit, there should be the message “You just got enough * training” in order to let me know that I dont need to buy anymore theoretical training.

Useless cause you can use the “Buy skill level” button?
- No. I had the situation that I had exactly enough pp to get the green bar overlapping the yellow one. I thought “Yay lets train”

 and hammered about 2 hours my knife blade until I recognized that there were 0.001% (or so, one or two pp) left to train.

Heating gold, steel, iron and bronze using the forge works quite well.
But trying the same with platinum, zinc, copper and tin fails (I have tested these):
“You are not sure what to do with this”

Sure, these are not included cause they are not needed for any crafting so far, but nevertheless it should be added.

In the quest “Trasok ancient sword” Oriven Thamal says in his last sentence:

‘what you will.’ I think it is wrong and should be ‘what you want’

[NPC] Oriven Thamal says: I’ve also learned that the magic word ‘Kluutarius’ seems to activate a spell on the wielder, making him reveal his inner thoughts. That’s the reason why I’m handling it from the edge! Take the sword, and do with it what you will.

As we have this new system that makes it possible to buy stack of something, it is not possible to buy a stack of ‘Blank Book’. You get two messages:

Your inventory is full
>You can only purchase 1 Personalised thing at a time!

I think this should be fixed.

This function is useless, cause 1. you just have 32 slots in your inventory and 2. nobody (nearly) needs 65 books.

And if you really want to buy more thatn just one book it is slower than the *normal* clicking very fast at the (single) buy button, as you are unable to buy two books at a time:

You can only purchase 1 Personalised thing at a time!

It seems to me that there are some Mistakes in the Shild Crafting Books.

The books provide tranformations that are not needed (The ‘Three Rivet Shield Diagramm’ provides using gold, although it does not allow any combinations that needs part made out of gold.). So the Shield Crafting Books need a revision and a reformating. Reformating as they are really hard to read.

Then it is not possible to heat a stack of ‘Bronze Half Circle’, dont know where this problem occurs, too (spikes, cores, cones…).

– I was only able to read the books using the IG-book-reader, so it was quite exhausting. BUt I am sure it is easy to find more mistakes using a ‘normal’ editor (with the search feature ;)) –

Heated * Blade turns to Dull * Blade using a hammer and the anvil.
Super Heated * Blade turns to * Blade using a hammer and the anvil.

I think the Super Heated * Blade should turn into a Dull * Blade aswell.

(Where * is Knife, Dagger, …)

Daggers are 1.5/1.5
Knifes are 1.5/1.2

To make Knifes a bit more interesting it could be an option to make them faster. Otherwise there is no reason to use them.

The Forge is too small. It is not possible to heaten a stack (65) of Knife Blades at the same time.

The quench tank is too small. It is only possible to quench 10 Knife Blades at the same time.

The Reinforced Axe Blade turns to a Double Axe Kit if it is combined with a Wooden Axe Handle.
But it should be a Reinforced Axe Kit.

It happend now two time that I got this:

Received out of bounds positional data, resetting your position.
You fell down and died.

In bdoorsout. The point where I died is arround here:

I am able to train axe-making with the ‘book of blades’ and sword-making with the ‘notes of an axe maker’ This does not work with the shield-crafting books or the ‘working with stock’

I can train axe-making having a ‘Book of Blades’ in my mind. I can also train sword-making having a ‘Notes of an Axe Maker’ in my mind.
This does not work with the shield-crafting books and not with the ‘Working with Stock’.
