Happened to me exactly the same way with the arena. Reinstalled the game and it worked after that. I think something got corrupted somewhere, but don't know what.

I just tried reinstalling the game and that did nothing.

open pssetup and turn off preload maps. In finder open Applications Utilities Folder then open the "terminal" application
type "cd /Applications/PlaneShift/"
"./psupdater.app/Contents/MacOS/psupdater_static CheckIntegrity"

let this run for a few minutes it should update any files you need to update.

[do not paste the " " just the text between them.

Ah this is frustrating, sorry if I'm annoying. And the first few lines are the same as you have ^, but still hasn't worked.

:( I think I've given up…. I downloaded the new updater but it still isn't working. It no longer says P.S client quit unexpectedly, but just freezes on this green screen..

I am stuck in the forest now as well on windows 2000. In front of me I see the new female model. I have updated all files.

I managed to move a little after logging on again, so maybe I can get out of this.

Seems to work now that food.zip is up to date
