Yep, this is the same as  FS#408 , sometimes it's checkerboard, other times it's like a big portal to the background.

what exactly is the bug? can you upload a screenshot to imageshack.us and include a /pos for the issue?

maybe he means bug  FS#408  (look at screenshot there) the wall is not always checkerboard but invisible instead and hiding all behind it and makes it look missing.
