FS#1462 - Hydlaa: Twin towers missing exit

There are two low towers in Hydlaa on the way to the forest road gate. Each tower has a rusty door at ground level. Using the door teleports the character to the top of the appropriate tower. But there seems to be no exit to leave the tower once the character is on top. Please create some kind of exit (trap door?) on top of each tower.

All is well

I looked at the top of the towers, and there is no "logical" place put the exit

Adding Talad as an assignment to get trapdoor artwork added to the top of the tower

Marked assigned and changed category to models and maps. Talad should decide how to solve this. As adding a door will probably not happen soon, another solution might be better (no using a door as action location, or disabling people from getting there).

The two towers in Gugrontid have trap doors which are used as exits. Would it be possible to use these kind of trap doors on the twin towers in Hydlaa as well, or are they too big to fit?

It is possible to exit one of the towers by jumping to the adjacent ledge. In a way, that makes an interesting puzzle. But the other tower is far from any building and therefore has no escape route, which is frustrating. A trap door would indeed be great; or disabling the entrance to the tower without escape.

Half a year ago i also bumped into this, asked Yanlora for help, she came up into the tower and finally told me just jump off :)

Tested again on Test server. Still true.

shouldn't this be assigned to talad as it's a map issue?

aurelynt commented on 25.08.2009 19:02

There are two issues here:
- There is no action location on the towers roof to get down.
- There is no door/trap on the roof as mentionned by the OP.

Assigning Talad for the second issue.

Added a small hatch on both. Action locations will have to be added.
