FS#8128 - Player movement control bugged after riding cart-pulling mount
I was trying out my cart and used it while riding my Drifter.
I could pull the cart to the desired place, but on unmounting my Drifter using a right click on the animal, my character alone kept moving in the limited way that the harnessed team was able to move before. So the movement restraints imposed by the cart were not properly lifted when being used together with a mount.
Hi, this issue seems to get resolved, if following steps are tried as a temporary fix:
The Bug:
1> Summon and mount drifter,
2> Link mounted drifter to cart to move,
3> Unmount and/or drifter dismissed, then unlink from the cart
Results: Movement or character actions are severly bugged (can only move in a straight line etc.)
The temporary fix:
1> As soon as you unmount, desummon pet
2> Link only yourself to cart
3> Pull linked cart (or unlink yourself from cart)
4> You are 'normalized' or can resume all the actions as expected otherwise.
I would like to add a related comment to the cart here, - unlike auto run/ walk/ move, one cannot auto move while linked to the cart (mounted or not). If this could be implemented oneday, it would really be nice for the not-DUI drivers!
