FS#8168 - Can't use Trigrain Steel to upgrade from Q299 to Q300
With the fix of FS#8159 a new problem seems to have arisen.
The Arcane Crucible refuses to work if just a part of the TGS stock’s quality boost would be wasted. So you can’t go from Q299/Q298 to Q300 currently.
Proposed fix: Only prevent usage if the entire three points would be wasted, not a fraction of that.

I encountered the same problem that you have mentioned. I solved the problem in following way. When at Q299 or Q298, make it repairable first by using it and reduce the durability by 1 pt minimum from its max Durability otherwise the next step will not work. The next step after this is to use normal repair kit and repair the item. This will reduce the max durability by quite a few points. Then after losing those points check out a calculation. Subtract 300-<your current durability after repairing it>=<the number you get> check this number whether its divisible by 3. If yes then go full fledged repairing it to Q300 and your problem solved. But 2 problem/issues is there, 1st the number of repair kits needed will be 65 or more, 2nd get it repaired by a repair master like myself, otherwise it will again lose in its max Durability.
